Our signature product line of lahvosh-style flatbread crackers are hand crafted in small batches. This premium, all-natural flatbread is made in Wheeling, Illinois and considered to be the original for gourmet flatbread. Flavor innovation is key for the traditional, specialty food product: each year Distinctive Foods introduces as many as five new and on-trend flavors. Capabilities now include: die-cutting; inclusions and toppings; flavor infused spraying; Kosher (OU Dairy); VFF packaging; horizontal overwrapping; portion-control and bulk packaging.

Distinctive Foods manufactures a line of high end, quality-first, baked goods. Initially specializing in cheesecake, the product line has been extended to include many value-added products including desserts-on-a-stick and our nationally distributed, multi-layered, ooey gooey butter cake. While never sacrificing quality and safety for price, Distinctive has the ability to customize products to meet specific price points. A high-volume batch oven facility, Distinctive Foods is able to create customized desserts unique to their customers, including natural and clean labels, regional specialties, and many more possibilities!

Dough Wrapped Protein

Distinctive Foods most unique line is protein wrapped in dough, produced in our USDA inspected bakery. Distinctive Foods is the preeminent and leading producer of bagel dogs, pretzel dogs, and other dough-enrobed proteins. These products are available in any size from an 8oz jumbo to a mini frank-in-a-blanket.

Distinctive Foods has USDA No. 1706 designation, which allows us to produce bakery items with meat, poultry and other cooked and uncooked proteins in them. We have a full line of bagel dogs – full sized and mini!
